Sofia Gazarian is an illustrator, birdwatcher and nature enthusiast with a passion for drawing and the natural world. Through her project Print Your Bird, she combines birdwatching, drawing and watercolour to encourage others to observe and depict the birds around them. In 2024, she challenged herself to draw one bird every day for a year, an experience that led to a community of thousands of people. She teaches bird drawing and watercolour, as well as nature journaling, to people of different experience levels. She is also the author of Birds in Watercolour: A Beginner’s Guide to Drawing and Painting Birds, due to be published in September 2026.
