Bruno Herlander Martins

Graduated in Biology and Conservation Biology and holding a PhD in Biodiversity, Genetics and Evolution, he is a researcher at the CIBIO – Research Centre in Biodiversity and Genetic Resources. An ornithologist with a strong commitment to biodiversity conservation, his research focuses on the ecology and conservation of birds, with particular interests in birds of prey, movement ecology, and animal behaviour. Throughout his career, he has participated in numerous research, biodiversity monitoring, and conservation projects in Portugal and abroad, combining scientific research with extensive fieldwork.
