UCC Vicentina

UCC Vicentina is a healthcare unit of ACeS Algarve II- Barlavento.

We aim to inform and spread awareness regarding health issues, as awell as to enpower individuals to control determinants of their own health, promoting the importance of well being and disease prevention.

Other information

The UCC Vicentina team will consist of a nurse and a healthcare assistant and will be present every day of the Festival, from 2nd to 5th October, between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. We will be carrying out various health screenings (blood glucose, blood pressure) at the Forte do Beliche on all four days of the festival, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

On Friday, 3rd October, the team will be joined by a Nutritionist from the URAP of the Department of Primary Healthcare – Barlavento, ULS Algarve, Dr Raquel Viseu, with the same working hours.
