Graduated in Biology from the Instituto Superior de Agronomia, with a Master's Degree in Conservation Biology from the University of Évora. He has developed several works in the areas of biology, wildlife photography and conservation. He is Sony's ambassador for nature and wildlife in Portugal. He wrote the "Tapada da Ajuda Wildlife Guide", collaborated in the guide "The Birds of Gulbenkian Garden" and in the "Atlas of Bats from Continental Portugal". He was scientific reviewer of several books. He created the company onWILD that provides various services and solutions in biology, environmental consulting, hiking guide, environmental education, workshops, and photography. He currently works on several projects with different entities, such as SPEA, GreenTrekker, SóPraSi, Fotocamo, the Municipality of Oeiras, the Municipality of Torres Vedras, the ICNF, the University of Évora, the Instituto Superior de Agronomia and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
