Lived in London for 17 years, studied with Christopher Hedley. Worked in Neal´s Yard remedies.

I consider myself a herbalist but not a practitioner. Back into village life Portugal since 1998 I write and travel across the country sharing plant stories with children and old people. Helpcreating herb gardens in schools. In old people´s homes I help bringing people back to old plant memories. I`ve published several books “As plantas e a saúde” (Plants and health) and “Uma mão cheia de plantas que curam” (a handful of healing plants) “ O meu herbário de plantas medicinais “, a herb journal s for the last 10 years and 3 herb books for children. I had a radio program about medicinal plants and often get invited to radio and TV programmes.
I Spend my days wondering around plants, contemplating, listening, tasting, smelling and photographing them.
