Free access to Sagres Fortress

From 5 to 8 October, your Festival bracelet grants you free access to Sagres Fortress and to the Chapel of Our Lady of Guadalupe (Ermida de Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe).

A place of great historical and symbolic value, Sagres Fortress offers visitors an opportunity to revisit the glorious period of the maritime Discoveries and to enjoy one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world.

The Chapel of Our Lady of Guadalupe is one of the oldest chapels in the Algarve. It was founded in the 14th century as a chapel of pilgrimage, and was remodelled in the 15th century, possibly with the sponsorship of Prince Henry the Navigator, who came here to pray.
