Festival wins another award: Municipality of the Year

The festival has been synonymous with awards. This year, Vila do Bispo Municipality was recognized as ‘Municipality of the Year 2020-2021’ in the category Tourism, subcategory Ecological and Adventure Tourism, due to the festival’s good practices, strategy, distinctiveness and innovation.
In previous years, the Municipality had already won several awards associated to the festival, namely, in 2017 “Sustainability Award 2015-2016” and in 2015 “Municipality of the Year Portugal 2015”, an initiative run by the platform UM-Cidades, based in the Minho University.
