This informal session presents the key findings of the LIFE BEETLES project, the first nature conservation initiative entirely dedicated to three endemic beetle species on the islands of Terceira, Pico, and Flores. Through an open and engaging conversation, we will share the main results, progress, and challenges encountered in protecting these unique Azorean insects, which play a vital role in maintaining ecosystem balance. An opportunity to learn more about ongoing conservation efforts and reflect on the importance of biodiversity for human well-being.
