30km of cycling around Sagres

On this guided bike tour, we'll cover a 30 km section of the Rota Vicentina’s Touring Bike and Gravel route. Starting at Forte do Beliche, we will ride onto Sagres, passing through Vila do Bispo, Ponta d’Aspa, Cabo de S. Vicente and returning to the starting point. In this *circular ride, accessible to everyone, we’ll reach the highest point on the Algarve coast, at 156m: the Torre d’Aspa, and enjoy one of the most beautiful panoramic views of Costa Vicentina,* and with luck, looking up to the sky, we will be see the natural elements that bring us to this Festival.

• Recommendations:

  The activity must be carried out on your own road-ready bike, such as a mountain bike, touring bike or gravel bike. A road bike is not recommended for this type of route. It is also recommended that the bike be checked beforehand: the chain lubricated and the tyres properly inflated. Bring a bidon with water, a small snack, a helmet and cycling gloves, as well as comfortable clothing and footwear for this activity. If you want to bring a GPS or mobile phone with software that reads GPX or KMZ files - Rota Vicentina will be able to make the route available to anyone who wants to use this information.
