Sagres is part of a natural park with a vast diversity of life forms, from plants that only exist in the Vicentine Promontory, to migrating dragonflies and orcas. In this activity we will do an initial explanation about iNaturalist, a citizen-science platform for recording biodiversity. Afterwards, we will conduct a walk-through to record local biodiversity using the iNaturalist application. These records, once entered into the platform, can then be used by any scientist around the world.
Bring comfortable shoes, hat, sunscreen, water, and a smartphone with data available for downloading the app and submitting records through this application. Optional: camera. Travel to the registration points will be made by car, so it is necessary to bring your own vehicle for this activity.
