Construction of Insects Hotels - Full
This activity will begin with a brief theoretical introduction about the ecological importance of insects, the risks they face, potential consequences of the reduction in their populations and the importance of having shelters for different species, followed by the construction of hotels for insects using reused and natural materials. We invite participants to bring untreated wooden boxes to the activity so that they can take home their own Insects Hotel.
