Scientific Illustration workshop - Graphite

Scientific illustration workshop where is going to be approached how to use graphite pencils to do an illustration. Quick description about what is scientific illustration and demonstration of how to apply the technique. Participants will do a final illustration with photo-references of species from our biodiversity.

  Materials:

  • Graphite pencil of different hardness (HB, B2, B3, B4, B5 ...). Not to many, just 3 to make the chromatic variation from the lightest to the darkest. Ex: HB, B2 and B4.
  • Type cleaner (optional) (also known as rubber-bread or rubber-dough).
  • HB pencil, Sharpener, eraser.
  • Cartridge paper 120gr.
