Field Records for Birdwatching

Field Records for Birdwatching - Full

A short theoretical session on field records for bird watching (15-30min), followed by a practical session (45-60min) to put the concepts presented into practice. Keeping a field notebook with a record of observations can help birdwatchers evolve in this practice more quickly, making their observations more valuable to themselves and to science, and can serve as a journal for later recall. In this activity, we will highlight what data should be recorded and we will also introduce a new tool that helps in this task.
