Results - The Birds of the Shepherd (Project Phase 1)

Join us to discover the results of the Birds of the Shepherds project and learn about the distribution, abundance and population trends of its target species in the municipality of Vila do Bispo. This presentation will highlight the main findings of the survey and demonstrate the close dependence of these birds on the region's traditional dryland farming, showcasing the importance of this agricultural landscape for the conservation of local biodiversity.
