Seven classes from elementary schools and kindergartens in the municipality of Vila do Bispo submitted entries for our competition "AvEco" organised as part of the Third Sagres Festival of Birdwatching. All the entries were very creative and showed well the characteristics of the birds that they represented, but only one of them could be the winner. The jury's decision was difficult but first prize went to the E.B.1 from Salema, with the Short-toed Eagle. The prize for the students involved in this work will be a guided tour with donkeys offered by the companies: "Donkeys and Arts" and "Walkin' Sagres". See below all of the competition entries..
